The Fairwood Community Park Performance Series and Music Festival has been bringing community residents, artists and culture lovers together since 2013. Performances are FREE and suitable for all ages!

Get ready for an evening of Classic Soul R&B as we celebrate the music of three American Icons, The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, Phyllis Hyman and Teena Marie. Critically acclaimed vocalist KAREN LINETTE will perform the Greatest Hits of Aretha Franklin. The incomparable SHANG will perform the songs of Phyllis Hyman and the soulful PAMELA WARD will perform the music of Teena Marie. This performance will also feature a live 12 piece band under the musical direction of guitarist and producer, KEVIN JACKSON.
